Getting ready for 2010! Today is the first day of the last 3 years of Human reign over planet Earth... according to the ancient Mayan Calendar. In preparation for this New Year, I have re-vamped my site to showcase my photography a little better, and many of the old sections have gone away. I apologize if there are still dead links in existence, please Let me know if you find any broken links. Thanks!

Home remodeling has been a consistent project over the last year; We have removed the odorous flooring from our add-on, and are ready to install tiles. Unfortunately, we discovered that our fans in the bathrooms and kitchen did not vent to the outside world. Instead, they just vented up into the attic, where all of the moisture has been accumulating since the house was built, and had finally rotted through our bathroom ceiling. We had a friend help install new vents in the roof, and then I had to cut out a 4'x5' patch of the ceiling in the bathroom. I successfully installed the replacement drywall and a new Panasonic fan, and had to have another friend help with the taping and mudding. A few more days, and we should be ready to repaint, and finally use our bathroom again!

After these remodel projects, we are left with a few spare parts... if anyone is interested in 6 matching ceiling fans (brass fixtures with dark wooden fan blades), you can have them! We also have a big microwave oven, some curtain and drape hardware, a medicine cabinet with mirror, an outdoor porch light fixture, a coat rack stand, and some dishes. Want this stuff? Send me an Email!

About Lars:
I was born at General Rose Memorial Hospital in Denver, Colorado on September 25th, 1973. I grew up mostly in the greater Seattle area, although I went to kindergarten in Montana, and I graduated High School near Aspen. I bought a super-8 movie camera when I was 7, and started making stop-motion animations. My first computer was an Acorn, which was a Brittish model and was one of the first personal computers available in the US. To run programs on the Acorn, I had to open the case and insert a new 50-pin chip into the motherboard. The programs I had were BASIC and LOGO. A couple machines later, I had my first Mac: The Mac II LC. Today, I have a dual 1.25 Ghz Mac G4... although I use a Windows XP PC at work.

After high school, I attended the Vancouver Film School in BC, Canada, where I studied everything related to Motion Picture production. After that, I moved to Georgia and earned my BFA at the Savannah College of Art & Design. I majored in Computer Art, and minored in Art History. I was also a rower, then coxswain, then captain, then assistant coach for the Rowing team. When I graduated, I was offered the job to come and continue coaching in exchange for a Masters Degree. I got my MFA from SCAD in Computer Animation, and graduated in 2001.

In between undergrad and post-grad, my friend and I started a company in order to organize our freelance efforts under one title. Originally, we were called 'Akasa', but we sold the domain name for a nice profit. Now the company is called 'Fine Art Technologies', and we have 'GXHost' as a registered trade name under the same company license. After returning from post-grad, Casey and I began seriously promoting our company and have done work for several companies, artists, and local bands.

In late 2003, Casey bought me tickets to see The Accused for my 30th birthday. It was in this mosh-pit that I literally 'bumped' into my future wife. I took a day job at Windermere Real Estate in 2004, and married Thea on August 11th of 2007. We now live in Northgate, about 15 minutes North of Seattle. Thea graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 2007, and is now a self-employed artist. You can see her artwork at: www.TheaWolfe.com.

I have been shooting live rock-n-roll photography for a couple years, and recently I have been expanding my portfolio to include portraits and fashion/style photography. I am currently available for freelance work, including web-design, photography, flash animation, motion graphics and video.
